Holland Little League is an independent, non-profit organization that focuses solely on baseball and softball.
HLL is not a City of Holland Recreation program, but HLL does collaborate with the city, as well as the local schools, for use of facilities and to encourage young athletes to participate in multiple sports and other programs, as well as prepare them for the expectations of coaches at the middle and high school levels. 

Holland Little League is an Official Little League Program.    




Weather Information & Announcements:


HLL abides by the follow weather guidelines:

Minimum Temperature: HLL will cancel all practices and games when the temperature drops below 45 degrees (40 degrees feel like).

Maximum Temperature:   HLL will cancel all games and practices when the heat index is in the Extreme Danger (red) category on the following chart.
HLL will take 10 minute breaks at the end of the 2nd and 4th innings when the heat index is in the Danger (orange)
category on the following chart.
HLL will resume game activities only when it is safe and appropriate to do so.
HLL will use NOAA temperature, relative humidity and heat index readings from the nearest available location.







Rain / Thunderstorms: HLL will try to call games by 5pm when it is raining out. 
HLL will suspend or pause/cancel games if Thunder is heard or Lighting is seen.  Play will be suspended for 30 minutes
from the last Thunder or Lighting Strike.


Weather Cancelations: HLL will communicate all game & practice cancelations to team coaches (coaches
will notify their players), post cancelation on HLL website and send
league wide email if time allows.
